Introduction to User (UX) Research – 2 hours workshop

Learn the reason why 1-in-3 digital products fail to meet good user experiences and expectations. Discover what consumer-centric, user research means and how user research helps to identify what users/ clients want and needs are, to increase sales and to meet user experience needs and satisfaction. This workshop explores the methods used and how user research can be integrated into all phases of product development.

An Introduction to User (UX) Testing – 2 hours workshop

Unravel the secrets of why and when user testing can give you the best insights into how end users/customers interact with websites, apps and software. Learn about user testing and how to best approach participants, capture evidence on how they behave, interact and react to the design, content and functionality of digital products.

An Introduction to Discovery Research – 2 hours workshop

Learn why conducting discovery research can help minimise the risk of building a website and app that does not work for end users. Obtain valuable insights into what the discovery research process is and the best techniques that can help gather information to gain a good understanding of users’ needs. This will form the foundation for new digital products or services.

An Introduction on How to Recruit Participants- 2 hours workshop

Find out the importance of participant recruitment and how to find the suitable participants for the user testing of new digital products or services. Explore the process behind identifying target users; where to find them and how to use external sources to recruit them.

An Introduction to Accessibility and Assisted Digital Research – 2 hours workshop

Understand the importance of a website, app or software being accessible to all. Consider how to conduct user (UX) research with senior citizens, people with disabilities and people who are not tech-savvy. Gain insight into how to make digital products and services accessible and what advantages there are in tapping into an audience that are often forgotten.

How to Create Personas – 2 hours workshop

Personas is one of the most effective tools used by user researchers to communicate target markets to all stakeholders (e.g. UX team, board members and developers). Join us and learn how to create believable personas based upon real information that can help you tailor your products and services towards your potential customers.

Hands on User (UX) Testing Training – 6 weeks course

Join us on a special practical ‘hands-on’ 6 weeks training course, where you will gain an in-depth understanding on how to conduct user (UX) testing for digital products and services. This course will take you through the different stages of user (UX) testing and how the information gathered can be used to improve websites, apps and software.

 

*          This course will be limited to a maximum of 14 participants; to ensure the quality of content and training provided. 2 hours/ week for 6 weeks.

Hands on Discovery Research Training – 6 weeks course

This 6 weeks’ course will provide you an in-depth understanding on how to gather useful information during the discovery research period. The course will teach you how to design your research questions; how to identify the suitable research methods plus other steps and components that are needed during discovery research.
